Carrie Heinsch

"We don't set out to save the world; we set out to wonder how other people are doing and to reflect on how our actions affect other people's hearts." -Pema Chodron

I understand the importance of optimal movement from an athletic perspective as well as proper mobility for our day to day living. After having a personal experience with my own loss of functional movement due to ongoing postural and emotional stressors, I decided to follow my dream of working with the human body by becoming a Massage Therapist.

I firmly believe our ability to move through the world with ease gives us a greater quality of life. Losing the ability to live a full and active life can be incredibly frustrating and disempowering. I want to change that.

Whether you are looking to address stress, calm your nervous system or regain functional movement, I look forward to building a trusted relationship and unique treatment plans for each individual client.

  • Licensed Massage Therapist #24540

  • 2018 Graduate of Oregon School of Massage 640 hour program

One of my early commitments was to do more than the required 25 hours of continuing education every two years.

My intention is to balance education and practice to strive to provide you with the most up to date treatments.

  • Other things you should know about me:

  • I am a proud military wife and the mother of three boys.

  • I am a native Oregonian.

  • I find joy in moving my body through running, practicing yoga, and conditioning with CrossFit.

  • In my downtime I like to garden, cook, and connect with family and friends.

My Philosophy

My goal is to empower you in your health and wellness, whether you're looking for relaxation or therapeutic work.

Our ability to sense the world around us is dependent on our awareness of ourselves and what we feel.

Our bodies are continually giving us sensory feedback to our inner and outer experiences. When we listen to and address this feedback we create a more connected relationship with ourselves and others.

Things You Should Know About Your Treatment

I look forward to working with you on your path to health and wellness. I always encourage my clients to give me real-time feedback regarding the massage. This includes temperature of room, pressure, music, lighting, and any techniques I use. I value your feedback and look forward to building a trusted therapeutic relationship.

Open communication will help me to provide you the highest quality massage as well as informing me to your individual preferences. Every massage is customized to each client's personal preferences and needs. If your goal is relaxation I will check-in with you a few times to ensure pressure is appropriate and then allow you to enjoy your massage. If your goal is therapeutic we will work together to assess progress.
